    M20 Transmission Noise....

My 4 speed transmission ('66 BB) was supposed to be totally rebuilt prior to buying my car last year. I have only driven it about 30 miles since buying it, but it is noisey in first and second on both acceleration and deceleration( I dont mean that great whine that I think should be there in a Muncie). It doesnt pop out of gear but is noisy (quiet in 3rd and 4th).
Is there any additive that may quiet it down or am I going to have to pull it out?

First and second put the most load on the countergear bearings, If you have adequate lube in the trans, then I believe the only option is to pull and check.

Yes, the noise sounds like bearings. THanks Bill.
