Has there ever been more than one version of the early FI Air Cleaner (the reproduction, I mean)? In other words, is Paragon offering the same one as most other sellers? Is Jack P. the maker?
There are several repros. Podell's is cheaper. Crane's is most correct. Choose your poison. FI air cleaners are reproduced by different vendors than are the carbureted air cleaners. They have different issues. The Crane air cleaner is virtually undetectable--20 years ago he used my 62 NOS one for his model for his tooling, and I had a difficult time distinguishing between the two when placed side by side.
