C2 Oil Pressure Gauge needle removal?

Well the oil pressure is stuck at 40 - assume its a bad gauge. Have two others but would like to keep the same face (original). Anyone guide me in the removal of needle? Looks like if not done right it will brake.

Checking the other two faces in hopes the fading is the same however that does not look good. Will need to check my two spares first to see if they even work.

I don't know it this will work on your gauges, but I used a kitchen fork (don't laught) to seperate the pointer from the gauges on my 2005 Impala. The person that I bought the gauge parts from told me to insert it between the dial and the pointer, and it would pop it right off. It worked great, without damaging anything.
