I am looking to replace the valve seals for my '66 327/300 and I would appreciate any recommendations for new valve seals - manufacturer, part number, cost, etc. Thanks in advance.

Re: Valve Seals
I just installed a set of Fel-Pros which are available as a kit from virtually any auto parts store at $10-15/set. They look just like the originals - except they're not rock hard or falling apart.

Re: Valve Seals
Rob,
Many brands and different styles....you may get numerous opinions. Go to the person(s) who builds engines for a living, see what they would recommend. All valves seals are not created equal..

Re: Valve Seals
Patrick and Michael,
I appreciate your responses. I am sure that there are many opinions and not all valve seals are created equally. I will ask an engine builder that I know, but thought the collective wisdom on the board would guide me in the right direction.
ThanksRob

Re: Valve Seals
Rob-----
The stock-type seals will work well IF they are properly installed and with metal shields also installed. Of course, for these or any valve selas to work properly, the valve guides and valve stems have to be within tolerance.
If you want to improve sealing, also install positive type valve seals on the INTAKE valves. Use GM #460483 or equivalent. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
