    58 Firewall Holes

    I am restoring a 1958 Corvette that was drag raced years ago and looks like it has a few extra holes in the firewall. Is there a good NCRS publication that has some clear pictures of wiring and other routing so I know which holes to fill? I have Noland Adams book and an Assembly Manual, but neither are much help. It is a heater delete car.

      I also have a 58 that was a drag race car with lots of firewall holes (or so I thought). I found once I started replacing the insulation and running wiring and cables that most of the holes were correct and I had filled holes that I should not have. I would not fill any holes untill you have done the insulation first, wires and cables second and see what is left. You might be surprised at what is left. Susan
