I am having my car judged for the first time. I have a small trickle charger mounted to the engine side wall for winter storage. Do I need to remove it and fill the holes? Thanks Susan, also how much is the deduction if I leave it?

Re: 58 - battery charger
Susan, the standard rule is: If it was not on the car when it reached the dealership, then it's wrong. Fill the holes, so they are hard to see, deduct for holes where none should be. And while you are there, remember, It can be a trying experience. Bill.

Re: 58 - battery charger
Susan, a few other tips that will gain you points. Have a NCRS decal on the drivers side window, do not cover date code, have a fire ext in the front, not in the trunk, empty center glove of all non corvette items, ex: comb, lipstick, tissues etc. If possible, drive to event. Be sure ashtray is empty. And remember, Bill.

Re: 58 - battery charger
Susan, I highly suggest you buy the "Corvette Judging Reference Manual" from NCRS. Don't even attempt to have the car judged until you have studied the manual throughly.
I am going to say that a large majority don't listen though and then they go to a show and suffer the consequences. Good luck, John- Top

Re: 58 - battery charger
Hi all, I thank you all for your help. I have the NCRS manual, Nolan Adams, service guides and assembly manuals, and Corvette restorer magazines going back to the early 80's. I have been detailing my car getting ready for this for 2 years now. I am going to remember toYour experiences which are not covered in the manuals are great. Susan, and wish me luck
