GM casting #3787067 is applicable to 1961-62 Corvettes with Saginaw 3 speed transmission. It will also SERVICE Corvette with 3 speed applications back to 1955.

These pages have a little information referring to GM#3787067
1961-1962 Corvette 3spd.

As for your date code numbers?
This would have been a Saginaw Trany.
Date code should be something like: S243 = meaning it was built in.. S= Saginaw MI....24= 24th day.... 3= March.
Information in book said there is no year date code number
