71 Pillar Weatherstrip & Rear Door--Do You Use Adhesive???
71 Pillar Weatherstrip & Rear Door--Do You Use Adhesive???
Installing all new weatherstrips. Have doors done but on the windsheild side frame and pillar weatherstrip and the coupe door rear vertical weatherstrip do you use any adhesive?? I can't tell because it is so old it is stuck to everything but looks like adhesive only on the top 1 inch and the bottom where the trough is?
Thanks Paul
Re: 71 Pillar Weatherstrip & Rear Door--Do You Use Adhesive???
Paul, I Would Use Weather Strip Adhesive All The Way Up, It Will Help Seal Out The Water And Wind Noises And Maybe Even A Little Chauking At The Cornors, Water That Makes Its Way Into The Bird Cage Will Cause Problems Later On With Rust.those Areas I Dont Believe Youll Find That For Judging Reasons There Would Be A Problem. Its More Likely The Replacement Weather Strips Would Get A Deduction.
