Fuel line tower clamps--Help !
Does anyone know where I would be able to find the 4 small tower clamps for the return fuel line on my '71 LS5 ? I already tried Doc Rebuild..no good. Is there a similar clamp used somewhere on a C2 that would work...LIC ?

First, these are not LS-5 parts... They're called out for base engine Corvette since those also used QJet carbs and had a fuel vapor return line. The PN shown in the AIM is 9419381 and a search of C2 books shows they weren't used on earlier cars...
My hunch is the clamps were also used on passenger cars from the era that employed QJet carbs having a discrete vapor return line. BUT, frequently a given GM PN had multiple suppliers with slightly different geometry (might not be a tower style clamp), so you can't guarantee getting the item you're looking for off a scrap yard car that was built at a different final assy plant...Comment

My '70 LS-5 has tower clamps on the vapor return line at the tank side only. I couldn't find replacements either, I just carefully cleaned up the originals.Comment
