Multiple Build Sheets

I have an 81 Corvette built in St Louis. I found one build sheet by the rear differential in the strut rod location. Unfortunately it was not legible due to black grease and other contaminates that erased most on the information.

I am in hope that the factory stuffed build sheets in multiple places. Has anyone heard of cars with multiple build sheets?

Any info is appreciated.

Not sure about `81s, but I have found multiple sheets on several cars. I also had a `71 SS El Camino that even had the build sheet for the car next to it in line. It also had the door panels of that car on it too.

Found my tank sheet and a 2nd under the drivers side floor carpet on my 68.
The one under the carpet was cut in half vertically just showing the option codes, w/out the descriptions.
