C2 1966 engine wire harness, M&H vs. Lectric Limited?

Does anyone know of any differences between the Lectric Limited engine/forward lamp harness vs. the M&H? After some searching I found that those that have delt with M&H seem to have good things to say about there customer service, and their harness is also priced better than the LL harness. It seems like a no brainer to me, but I wanted to check and see if there were any known issues between the two.

    Thanks,
    Steve

I have used both, Lectric first time and wish I had known about M&H. Both were complete harnesses on a frame off. As far as I'm concerned M&H would be the only harnesses I would use.,

M&H vs. Lectric Limited; product or customer service

      Mike,

I'm curious to know if you're switching from LL to M&H is based on the quality and/or correctness of the product or is it based on price or is it based on customer service or some other aspect? Exactly what is M&H doing better at in your opinion?

      Thanks,

          Switching to M&H

The first reason was customer service. I had a problem when i installed LL harness. Headlights were not working proper. High beam light would stay on in the car. Called to get some help and was told I had a bad ground somewhere. I trouble shot that with my meter and to me all grounds were working fine. Recalled them and was told it had to be a ground. They would not listen to what I had checked and I was on my own from there. After 2 days of trying to figure this out, I traced all the wires in the plugs and found there harness was not wired correctly. I called to tell them and they said that was not possible as all harnesses are checked.
M&H I liked there harness better. I also had to call M&H about what I thought was a problem. The 63 wiring diagram had a error in it. A wire color was mislabled. They were very helpfull pleasant to talk with and made sure things were worked out.
          Both companys harnesses fit good.
Go down to the post from Jack Humphrey and he explains some other differences and thats when I bought the M&H harness.

At least in the early 2000 timeframe, M&H was actually given charge of maintaining the past model (Past service requirement) drawings for Delphi Packard Electric, Had to be pretty conversant with the product to gain that level of responsibility.

CEO, Tom Marques, is VERY knowledgeable when it comes to navigating the in's and out's of the GM Licensing system & getting, reading, interpreting GM drawings. That's one of the reasons they're the biggest supplier of classic car wiring harness assy's in the business.

He's a stickler for originality WHEN it's within cost parameters, today's mfgr legislation constraints and makes good safety sense. There are quite a few Delphi/Packard parts that he's had to re-tool...

Thanks to all who replied, I appreciate the information. I have used an M&H harness my Chevelle and was nothing but pleased with the quality, so it looks like I will go with them again.
