69 L89 GM heater hose letter color.

I have seen some replacement heater hoses with white lettering and some with red? Which would you use for judging? Thanks, Lynn Schwebach

White. (well, it's actually a bit on the grey side) I've never ever seen any other color on new 69's.

Dark red or yellow was typically used in 62-65, IF a logo was used. Not all hoses had the GM/square logo.

Just ever so slightly grey. It wasn't absolutely white. It was absolutely kinda sorta slight off white, toward grey.

However, I suppose the white will work ok.
