    Rebuild SC Bar Type Fan Clutch - 68 BB

    I have the correct fan clutch for my car and the resistence is ok, but if leaks which I am sure in not unusal for it age, The Fan clutch is SC bar type fan clutch. My engine is 427/390. My question is has anyone every rebuilt one themselve or know how to refill the unit with oil. Is there a manaul out someone could share with me or can any share there own experiece to rebuild one of these. Thank you - Jeff

        Hi Jeff,
        There was an article in the RESTORER in the last couple of years dealing with the Schwitzer type clutch including adding more silicon fluid.
        I'll try to find the issue number for you.
