1970 Corvette Daytona Yellow with GREEN interior??
Re: 1970 Corvette Daytona Yellow with GREEN interior??
I owned a 1970 Daytona Yellow/Dark Green LT1 Coupe for many years, it was not the best color combination I ever saw but I never disliked it either. When I first purchase it the exterior color was white, I repainted the car the original Daytona Yellow twice, once to get rid of the white and the second time when I left the nose setting in an intersection.

Dick, There was a 71 coupe Sunflower Yellow with orig Green vinyl Int for sale at NCRS Kissemee Regional in Fla by Roger's Corvettes from Maitland Fla. It was in the car corral, by the fence. Was supposed to be orig with window sticker, & POP. It looked better in person, than it sounds. It was also listed in their "hand out". Barry Holmes

'Sometime between 1970 and 1974 I saw a '70-'72 (can't remember for certain which MY) setting outside Hefner Chevrolet in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It was a convertible, not LT-1 or BB. It looked OK, just different than the usual.

Re: 1970 Corvette Daytona Yellow with GREEN interior??
When I bought my '67 Camaro, the conversation with the salesman drifted to Corvettes. He said he ordered and eventually delivered a '66 Yellow/Green convert to a lady.
He said the Central Office sent the order back to him three times for verification, "Are sure this is what you want?"

Re: 1970 Corvette Daytona Yellow with GREEN interior??
I once saw a 1970 yellow/green coupe. I thought it looked good. As is said, better in person than it sounds. The 1970 green interior is less than stunning, in general -- but this combination looked pretty good to me.

I looked at a 71 LT1 Ontario Orange with green interior but the owner painted the interior black. If it was number matching I probably would have bought it and put the green back in. I still want that combo.

I've seen Warbonnet Yellow with a green interior.
Unusual, and I'll let it go at that.
You would think that would show up a lot as more 71 corvettes were painted war bonnet yellow than any other color. I am just glad my car has the dark saddle tan in leather.

Recommended color combo for 75. Ordered quite a few 1975 Coupes this color /combo while working at Palmyra Motors.
I will say this, the most perfect Corvette I'd ever (while selling Corvettes) seen was a 1975 Bright Green (code 42) with silver leather interior. Paint, seams, door fit, etc. was perfect. Sold that Corvette to a friend and he drove it every day. Never forgot that one. vin # 1Z37J5S421319. Anyone know where this Corvette is today, let me know.Save the Wave.>George
