NOS tire tub on eBay; NOS differs from production

People should be aware that service replacement tubs have features that are different from production tubs. I know this since I bought an NOS tub about 5 years ago for my '66 and then resold it when I figured out I didn't want to deal with modifying the NOS tub to make it look 100% like an original mid-year tub.

As most of us learned from our experiences, a NOS part isn't necessarily the same type of part that was placed on a car originally at the factory.

As most of us learned from our experiences, a NOS part isn't necessarily the same type of part that was placed on a car originally at the factory.

And most parts advertised as NOS aren't - they're NORS (New Old Replacement Stock); later service replacements.
