Dash Insert 1958-62 corvette

I just watched the video by Jerry Koen of Corvette Central on the installation of the dash insert.
Has anybody done this? Where did you get the spot welding done, or is there another type of welding or some other way of fastening the stainless trim?

JB Weld or epoxy do a great job, and are no more visible than the original spot welds, which is not at all.

Thanks for the replies. I have used JB Weld for many projects. You have confirmed that it will work well for the dash insert.

I helped a friend and we used JB. Easy to use and a great job. Besides, it is made about 20 miles from here.
