I am replacing the inner fender rubber seals that are behind the A-arm dust shields. They are approx. 10" x 1 3/4". Mine are split and some broken off. Do these seals sit on top of the frame or are they to hang down along side the frame? I can let the driver side hang down along the frame if needed, because there is room, but the inner skirt on the passenger side hangs over the frame and it looks as though the old seal either is broken off lengthwise or it was cut off because of this overhang and only sat on top of the frame. How do I handle this when one side is completly different from the other?? Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Re: Question Re:Inner Fender Rubber Seals
Thank You John for the photo. Thats what I thought they should do. The piece left on the drivers side looks like that.
My problem is the passenger side. The inner fender hangs inboard over the frame rail by at least 1/2" - 3/4" so the seal won't go down along the side. it would only sit on top. Should I mount it so it just sits on top? If I want it to go down along side it would have quite a bend in it. I guess that would be Ok, if I could get it to work. Maybe I could try to fold the seal in half length wise and lay something on it for awhile to kinda form it to go that way. Sounds like Bubba working.- Top
