    C2 Car Cover Advise

    Hello all,

I am seeking advise as to the best type and style of car cover to buy for my 64. It will be used when I attend any outdoor events. Need one that repells water but will breath underneath. My car is always garaged kept when at home. Where to buy is appreciated as well.

    Thanks in advance,
    Craig Willetts

Craig, my cars spend most of their time covered in the garage. The '57 still has a flannel lined cover I bought from MG Mitten (no longer in business) in 1965. The others have flannel covers I bought from Mid America a few years ago. A good coat of wax and flannel covers do a great job of protecting the finish. If you have your car covered outside much you may want to consider one of the thinner, more breathable materials from Beverly Hill, Griots, Eastwood, Mid America, etc. The more well known vendors have very similiar covers, if not the exact ones.

        Look at the "Weathershield."

Sounds like you don't need it for the garage, but want it for travel. Therefore you'll want something that's thin, light, and dries quickly.

Do not know the best type or best maker of car covers.
I have used Wolf brand of car covers for years. Bought two about 12 years ago for outside use only.
One of two, a WOLF NOAH type was used very little outside untill just over two years ago. Started using on car that lost its garage space. Has held up pretty well and if I keep the car will likely replace it in the spring. It has done its job in protectiing the paint and interior. Very form fitting on the car, good elastic on each end to hold the cover on.
The other cover is a NOAH EVOLUTIN for my 96 LT4. Fits very well and in very good shape since it has been only occasionally used.
Have two other NOAH EVOLUTION covers that are a lot older and have been used a lot more, I did get my money's worth from them from use on my 68,70, and 85 Vettes.
Shop the different sites for WOLF car covers, some do have a price difference for the same type of cover.
