I AM 70 OLD FART AND LOOKING FOR OTHERS MEMBERS THAT HAVE DEC. 69 OR EARLY JAN. 70 PRODUCTION DATE THAT MAY WANT TO SHARE INFORMATION ABOUT THEIR CORVETTE.
I have a 1970 LT1 vert with a build date of Feb. 5 and a sale date (from dealer invoice) of April 14, 1970, which I just purchased in July. It was restored (some good, some bad) in the late '90s and I'm in the process of putting it back the way it should be. Issues are mostly minor like the incorrect front grills, ignition shield, master cylinder, etc. Luckily, the drivetrain and all major components are matching numbers and pristine (engine has never been apart). Interestingly, the engine block is an "M" code block, which is pretty rare and which the previous owner didn't realize.
I'm old enough to have purchased this vette new, so does that make me an Old Fart?
Yeah
Anyone that purchased one new is a old FART, but that is a good thing. I am glad with have all the old farts on the board with all their vast knowledge of the early cars.

Were there any (regular production) Dec 69, 1970 cars built?
My 69 is the 18th unit before production ended and the C3 Birthday calculator said Dec 31st for my VIN.
(however accurate that is)
