    C1 1958-1962 Gauge Housing Differences

Can anyone tell me whether or not there are any visual and/or part number differences for all of the indivdual gauge housings between 1958-62' ?? Tach, Speedo, Oil, Fuel, Battery, and temp. Thanks, JB

Yes--58 is all by itself with all the gauges
59 has blunt needles, 60-62 sharper
59 has no color in tach background, 60-61 has greener low background, 62 more beige in that area
    59-early 62 has 220 temp gauge, rest of 62 has 240
58 speedo has dots in background, 59-62 has slashes
    How's that for a start?

There is a difference in the cigarette lighter mounting hole. The 61 and 62 has a raised lip at the outer edge of the lighter hole and the 58 to 60 has no lip. Rich

I guess my question wasn't clear enough..sorry. I am talking about each individual gauges "can"....the part that the actual gauge is housed in...the cadmium part that the wiring hooks to.....the back piece. Thanks, JB

There is a difference on the speedo housing. I've been told the '58 housing is slightly deeper.
