Adhesive / Cement

I'm currently going through a re-attachment of both Support Asm. for the locking mechanisms of the Deck Lid and need to know what kind of Adhesive / Cement would be appropiate to use along with the rivets the 1974 A.I.M. is calling for. This would be for steel to fiberglass. THANKS.

Find your local Body Shop supplier. They carry many specialty adhesives. If you have problems talk to you Chevy Dealer Body Shop. I believe 3M
is making the product you are looking for.

Believe it's called "3M Structural adhesive".
Same stuff you see between the inner & outer hood panels.
