    Any pictures of a correct restored window regulator

    This is for a 62 corvette.

    specifically what do you need? Orientation of components? Finishes? Close-ups? Distance?

        Natural stamped steel--I'm not convinced they had any finish beyond that. If so, at best a light zinc or cad, but I really think they were nothing besides natural.

          i go along with the rev. never removed a c-1 regulator and found any evidence of finish other than bare steel. have some NOS c-1 regulators i bought in the early 70's and they are bare steel with a cosmolene(?spelling) type preservative.mike

              I have found that most early regulators are painted semi gloss black.(56- 59). The later usually have a slight galvanize or Clear CAD Finish. (60 - 62).

                Okay, that kind of make sense since I pulled one out of a 59 door. It had some black paint on it (the door was not painted black).
