I stand corrected. I forgot the flags would not have been on a base (standard 220 hp) engine '57 car.
Her Corvette was a '56 according to the references.

    Thanks,
    Bill

Bill, there are "bunches" of '57's, and I assume '56's, running around with crossed flags and no FI emblems. It seems adding the flags was sorta like 6 tail lights on 61's-'67's. I liked the 6 tail lights but the reversed shackles I never did.

        They weren't on a 245hp or 270hp either.

I yield to you more knowledgeable gentlemen. Serves me right to have used Ray Miller as a reference rather than Noland Adams.

BUT, since we are on the subject can you tell me this about her '56 Corvette? Who drove her home in it after she had too much to drink at Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis's house? Clue; Part of a scandal that altered her career.

Also, I deeply need four 5/8" head bolts with WB headmark, about 1 1/2' long with pointed tips. (Sorry for the commercial - you can answer the puzzle question without providing any bolts)

'56 - I believe I can make out the thumbscrew on the interior rear view mirror.

OK, so I don't get the WB bolts.

Sammy Davis Jr. is the answer.

What years had the WB 1 3/4" headbolts?

                  John,

'61-'62 rear bumber bolt...pointed tip...about 1 1/2" long from base of head to tip.

That intrigued me so I quickly dug up a biography. Quite a drama filled career.
