You win the prize and you beat me to it. No one or way anyone can pin down whether it is a 56 or 57 unless it was associated with a particular movie. Anyone?

p.s. Kim was a beauty.
although the photo isn't too clear regarding the interior rear view mirror, i suspect its a 57 vette.mike
I'd be inclined to go with "Pal Joey". You know, even though that was a 57 movie, the car could still be a 56. The hollywood types went for cars that were more, how would you say, maybe sophisticated or user friendly which a 56 with a power top would be. You can't expect a movie star to risk a broken nail putting up a manual top, but then it is in Southern California where it never rains.

Bill this picture of before interested my wife who took about 1 second to recognize Kim sitting in the Corvette. Her comment on your picture, Kim was really pretty and was about 18 years old then. How close to Kim's actual age was her comment of your picture?

Marilyn Novak was 21 when she was signed by Columbia and Harry Cohn changed her to a blond to compete with MM. But that also meant the "Marilyn" had to go too and was replaced by KIM.
Her 1st credited movie was Pushover (1954) opposite Fred MacMurray and Philip Carey. It's been re-mastered and is crystal clear. Rent it or buy it online, as you guys are sure to enjoy it.
The '56 Vette was not a "photo shoot", but a car she owned and drove regularly. Fate unknown.

'Could still be a '57. Crossed flags on side were only with a FI. Without seeing interior mirror can't tell if it is a '56 or '57 from this pic. great pic though! 'Anyone have a pic of the '57 that appeared on Hawaiian Eye a time or two or the '59/'60 on Surf Side 6?
