Thank God for the Independent Auto Parts Store owners. I just returned from one situated close by near our Orlando International Airport. I found their listing on the Wix Web site, but they had moved and even changed their phone number. It was sure worth while. I got the oil filters I wanted, and they had them by the case - and even the two (2) quart version! On top of that, just for the heck of it, I had them look up the P/No. for a 63 SHP Fuel Pump and, sure enough, they had one in stock. Oh sure, the box was a little dusty, but what the heck. Wow! What a find - a little hole in the wall in an older part of town, and people who know something about cars!
The reason I picked up the Wix 51515's is that they will work with the old spin on filter adapter kit I have. I believe the actual No. is for Chrysler and some Ford applications, but there are still a number of mfg. filters that will work. The seal is a smaller diameter than say a PF-454 specified for some of the newer adapter kits. The Wix filters are black, so you even have to look close to see it's not an original canister on the engine.
The wix web site is great; they give you all the spec info, sizes, and a great cross reference feature - much more user friendly than say Fram or others that mainly are set up to find a filter by car model, rather than as a cross reference from an OE unit.

It used to be but that ended about 4 years ago. As part of the Dana Corporation bankruptcy, Wix was sold off to a company called Cypress Automotive Holdings and became part of their Affinia Automotive Brands products. This includes Raybestos and several other notable parts lines.
