71 3 Jack Questions

I am the original owner of my 71 LS5 coupe. While some things have gone by the wayside over the years, before I knew NCRS existed, my jack is the jack my car came with. The JG manual states the jack should have a year followed by a month. Mine has only a "1" stamped, no letter

If these jacks were dipped, what portions were not painted.

I have some loose pins on the sissors, how should I tighten them up?
