    Saddle Leather for 1968?

A member on another forum has a '68 which he feels is original. The car has a January build date, a trim tag coded 421, and a saddle interior. None of my sources list saddle for the '68 model year. Did saddle become available during the 1968 production run?

The TMJG notes that it became available sometime during the production year. The dealer brochure does't have the genuine hide color saddle listed as an option on the back page.

Unless it is an early production car, the saddle leather should be OK for judging.
