Knock off wheels

How can I tell if my 1966 Corvette has the original knock off wheels?

Mine have an imprint that says they are Western Wheels. I see no GM numbers at all.

Western Wheels are repo wheels. Though they are a very good and nice repo, those wheels did not come from the factory with that brand of wheel. Original KO's are marked with a KH for Kelsey Hays the original manufacture. It is my understanding though, that somehow Western Wheels somehow got the mold or eguip. to make these repo wheels. If I remember right, they came out about in 1976 with these repos. Better info I am sure will come forward.

Your Western Wheel knock-offs are not original GM issue. The picture below is a real Kelsey Hayes knock-off wheel.

Western Wheel was the aftermarket division of Kelsey-Hayes.
