it needs mudflaps with reflectors and a set of curb feelers to be a bratz-mobile. mike
Hoppy was my hero. I still have a small Hoppy glass in the kitchen cabinet. Mother still has a picture somewhere with me in a Hoppy cowboy outfit at about age 6. One of my uncles only caled me Hoppy from that time until he died several years ago. Great memories Roy! Never saw the bike before.
My bike friend restored one of these. The came in two sizes, missing from this bike are the white handle grips with black and white streamers and the black and white peddles.
Nice looking bicycle Roy. Watched a lot of Hopalong on TV when we got one in the mid 50's. Never knew until now that there was a Hopalong bicycle available. My wife's favorite cowboy was Lash LaRue "King of the Bullwhips". Was there a Lash LaRue bicycle available?

Only a Hopalong bike that I know of, I remember standing on a corner in town and shooting bad guys and some people would pretend shooting me back . We could not afford a TV few could back then , it was like buying a car , a big deal then. He came to little towns at the movie house and at the end of his show your ticket could win a bike, Roy Rogers did the same thing once a year / cost a dime to go to the movies for kids. Miss those days.Every one wonted to be a Cowboy!
Hi Roy,
I still have my Hopalong Cassidy watch. I think it's from about 1950 or so. It was a whole lot easier being a kid (and parent) then.
