C2 Owners Packet For Sale on Ebay

Hello all,

I was surfing ebay earlier and came across a neat item for sale. Looks like a fellow Canadian is selling a fantastic complete C2 Owners Kit for a decent price. Might be a great way to replace one that may have been lost or as a backup. Fortunately for me the original owner of my 64 has his original owner's kit and claims he will eventually give it all to me for a price. At what price? Yet to be determined. Anyway the auction number is 270267999562. Look it over. Looks great. The seller has a variety of neat items for sale. Let me say that I have no connection to the seller and only posted this here for the benifit of the group.

Guys,

Careful.
Just be aware that Pete Estes didn't become GM of Chevy until July 1, 1965 so his name would not have been on Welcome Letters prior. Also note that the Welcome Letter shown has a ZIP Code while the Mailing envelop has a postal ZONE code. Zips came into existence 7/1/63 but not made mandatory 'til 1967.
To be pure, this Seller would need to true-up this stuff and offer variations dependent upon when the kit was requested by the owner.

Interesting choice of words (reminds me of Duke's "Marketing" disertation)
Like "Correct", "Custom" and "Limited Supply".
As long as his computer and printer continue to function, and with a few trinkets thrown in, these will not be "As Rare as Hen's Teeth" for very much longer.

This Seller has 100% positive feedback on eBay with 1095 unique transactions....no small achievement.....folks have been happy with his KeyKeepers, Bat warranties, etc.

But this seems to be the very first time this particular item has been offered, as there is no indication of either feedback or a completed auction previously.

I have been noticing this sellers auctions for a while. If memory serves he did have some negative feedback. Does the new/current feedback system only reflect performance in the last year or since the change in the feedback system and not ones entire track record?

It would be helpful if EvilBay would offer a quick way to view any negatives and neutrals that have ever been posted rather than scrolling through numerous pages.

Your eBay feedback "rating" is calculated over only the last 12 months of feedback, but ALL of your feedback from inception is "viewable" if you want to scroll back that far....so you can never out run it unless you start over with a completely new (not changed) user name.

This Seller's feed back is back to May, 2004. Spot checked old pages. No reds.

Maybe NCRS folks are just conditioned to look harder.
