Water Pump Restoration

Hello,

First of all I want to thank all of the members of this terrific forum for assisting all of us newbies with our questions. I had queeried the forum regarding generator resto and recieved a call John Pirkle; what an outstanding gentleman. John will take care of my parts. Thanks John, those babies will be in the mail tomorrow! John, ironically, is a retired Army COL helicopter pilot, and I flew choppers in the USMC for 26 years, so we had a neat discussion.

I checked out Hemmings for H2O resto, and found a few shops, but one never knows of the quality. It always helps to have someone with experience to recommend a shop(s) who does high quality concourse factory spec work, so if anyone can assist me on this, I would appreciate it very much.

Arthur Gould in New York is excellent.

Quick turnaround. He's done a number of water pumps and also fuel pumps for me and other members of my chapter.

I've used Hite parts exchange in Columbus, OH. Great workmanship and they will do your old pump and you will get the old pump back, rebuilt. I've been to there shop, clean, and the staff is very knowlegable.
