56 -early 57 horn relay orientation
there is little doubt that by jan 1957, the horn relay was rotated such that the three terminals pointed foreward. how about you guys with 56 and early 57 up to about vin 2000, check the orientation of the horn relay teminals. do they point up, as the current JM states, or did they point down ? thanks, mike

Mike I am attempting to show a picture of a very early 56 Under # 300 This should show the wire location. If I did this picture thing correct.
Car is unrestored and very original.

If oriented down on my Nov '56 car, the VR would interfere with access to the HR terminals. Not impossible to access, but inconvenient. A couple of pics in Noland's book clearly show terminals up.Comment

it would appear that the 56 and early 57's(to about vin 2000) were installed at the discretion of the assembly line workers, ie, terminals either pointing north or south. mikeComment
