Where did you get the cap for your Impala?
Looks really good - speacially the flat rivet on top , most of the repros I have seen and bought, all have the rivet drilled out.

My original 72 cap has a flat rivet head.

The box I had it in said GM Restoration Parts and CARS, Inc. When I went to the CARS, Inc. Web site I couldn't find the same radiator cap. Since I got it for the '66 Impala (and it would have been the wrong rivet for it) I assume I got it through Year One. I have two, the new one in the photo and the one like it on my '70 Corvette. I may send an email to Tom DeWitt with those cap photos and see if he recognizes the cap and where it may have come from.

I think that's the one from OldCarStuff.com (aka CARS).

Note that the rivet is flat, but still not correctly shaped.
