Re: Convention 08
Jerry,
Heading out to my first NCRS meet ever tomorrow morning. Staying with my son and his family in Edwardsville now. I'll be easy to pick out, I'll be wondering around with a Coles County Corvette Club hat on and grinning ear to ear!! Can't wait, I'm hoping to finally get to meet up with some of the GREAT GUYS AND GALS in the NCRS!!
Take care,
Shooter- Top

Re: Convention 08
rolled in with the Road Tour around 1500 hours - total of 1600 miles and averaged right at 18 mpg for the trip - was hot as all get out, especially with the last few miles of "parading" into town - OPS tomorrow morning and then the Lady will be judged on Wednesday - here is hoping for DUNTOV!Rick Aleshire

Great! I'm glad you guys are enjoying them. Here's one that I've never seen before, but I'm sure some of you probably have. One of three for each astronaut.Last edited by Jerry G.; July 21, 2008, 08:53 PM.- Top

Re: Convention 08
The announcement of an impending storm cleared many from the membership meeting tonight. We loaded a black '57 (Bowtie candidate) into a trailer as the Bowties are outside. My '60 FI is under a Hotel canopy (it is a real Corvette, it leaks). A great turnout, about 130 cars in the Convention Center. Don H.- Top

Re: Convention 08
Jerry, that 435 appears to be a 68, not a 69. L88 looks like #18830.- Top
