Yes, it's amazing what a little rattling of the brain can do for the memory.
I do have an original that I removed from a '67 350. Since it had a stick in the relief hole I guessing I should pull it out and rebuild it.
Let us know who your supplier was for the kit and keep us posted on how you rebuild turned out.

I got the kit from Paragon last year at Corvettes of Carlisle. I've see it listed in their catalog also. My original also has the X in the arm rivet and I think you have to remove the arm to take out the diaphram. I was considering not removing the arm until then, it did not appear to show much wear, but it may have to be removed.

Don't need to remove arm to change diapham. Just need alot of thumb power to unhook the metal stem on the diapham from the arm. Look at the new one in the rebuild kit and you will get the picture.

I don't know how a 40083 got on a 1967 350, regardless of whether you mean a 1967 Corvette 350 hp or whether you mean a 1967 350 cid small block (which was only used for 1967 Camaro SS). Both applications originally used a "crimped" style pump of AC 40503 or 40524.

            Yes, Joe.
It was a 350 Horse drag car and the fuel pump wasn't the only thing changed out.

I bought an original 40083 pump from Long Island Corvette about a year ago. I don't know if they have any left but it's worth a try. Mine runs great. I second the notion on dealing cash and carry with Goathill.
