Rear leaf spring frame rubber bumpers on 57-58 cars

Does anyone know the approximate VIN number/date that the second (forward) rubber bumper was added to 57-58 frames for limiting the rear leaf spring travel?
Also, does anyone have a dimension (from a particular point on the frame) for the location of the forward bumper?

Tom, AIM drawing said it was added 4/2/57 and probably in production mid April's my best guess. Approximately VIN 3350 or there abouts. Hope this helps. Gary....

Do you know if all 58s had (or were supposed to have) the forward bumper?

Tom, my notes say '58 & up except for the RPO cars. Sorry can't be of more help. Might drop Tim Mickey an e-mail for more detail info. Gary....
