67 L68 Auto kick down spring

Hello i am from Australia and new to NCRS and the dicussion board. I hope i have entered this information correctly.
i have a couple of questions i hope someone can help as resources are scarce in Perth Western Australia.

1 The kick down spring is attached to the black kickdown arm and the other end of the spring is pointing towards the firewall but their is notheing for it to attach to? What does it attach to?
2 Their is a bracket that is bolted to the intake manafold that is used for the throttle return spring, this is not used on the automatic, should it be their? Also on the throttle arm their is the tag for the other end of this spring from the intake manafold bracket, should it be their as in my limited understanding neither is used.

I hope you can understand me i have tried to send photos but cant get that to work yet as it is asking for a URL?
    This is my email addressrayatkinson@westnet.com.au
    kind regards

Hum, guess I don't see the confusion factor... Have you cracked open your copy of the 1967 AIM (Assy Instruction Manual) and flipped to back under RPO M35 (A/T option) to look up the kick down spring installation?

Seems rather clearly depicted in my copy of the book...

BTW, I hope you're a member of the NCRS Australia Chapter. We've got some really great + knowledgeable members in WA!
