Does anyone have photos of the area under the gas tank of the tell tale signs of a power top on a '56-'57 Corvette. Thanks in advance. Steven J.

Steve, I have some pictures of my past '56 with PT that I took prior to the body off, but I am not sure what you are looking for?

Nothing under the gas tank area will help you , but two large holes at the divider panel soft top area & trunk area will if it ever was a PT vett

Attached are some pictures from my early 57 of the power top mounting holes in the trunk and next to the passenger seat and on the gas tank cover. The 2 small holes in the gas tank cover are for the toggle switches used in 1956 cars, 57 was different, the 2 rubber bushings are for wires. The holes in the trunk floor are where a cylinder brackets mount. The holes in the trunk devider are where switches and the pump mounts.
The 1956-1957 assembly manual has some good drawings under RPO 473.
