    62 temp sender/radiator hose clearance

My 250 hp has the low curved thermostat housing and the upper radiator hose with the clamp installed has very little clearance for the temp sender connector to fit on top of the sender. Should there be more clearance? My wire keeps coming off the sender.

I don't have any problems with that. I am using an original sending unit and the original thermostat housing. Is your sending unit too tall? Mine is a 250hp also.

the sending unit was in the car when I bought it. If I replace it, where should I buy it from?

Bought the replacemmennt from CC and threads in just a tad lower. Also put a 160 deg. thermostat in and clearance is ok now. Thanks for all the help.
