    1969 3 speed

Any body have an idea how rare a 69 350, 3 speed, red/red coupe is?

There were only 326 cars built with a three speed in '69. That makes it more rare than the L89 engine option.

Rare and desirable are not always the same thing though.

As I've said many times previously, if one starts talking about the combinations of various options and colors, just about every old Corvette is quite unique. When one calculates the number of possible combinations of things, the number of unique combinations is HUGE. Of course, some combinations of options, colors, etc. are very unlikely and others more common.

In any event, given the very small number of 3 speed manual Corvettes manufactured for the 1969 model year, the last model year that a 3 speed manual was even available in a Corvette, and the fact that the red/red color combination was probably not too common for 1969, I'd say that there were likely not more than a handful of such cars ever built. Start adding in other options and the car might be one-of-a kind. But, so are a lot of other Corvettes, too.

If you're into that 'how rare is my Corvette' line of thinking, just relax in the comfort of knowing your car IS a 'one-off' because it's got a unique VIN tag and let the obsession drop there!

I have not bought it but felt it was unique.
