I recarpeted my '72 several years ago (yes - a newbie bubba job ), and at the time had generic seat belts in it. I'm now putting in better replacement belts, and need a description or picture of how the carpet is to be cut around in area between the seat and door, where the belt comes out from underneath the seat and through the belt guide.
The area underneath the belt guide has no carpet to ease movement of the belt.
You will also most likely have to cut some out for the retractor mounting under the seat to allow the plastic cover to fit. It won't really matter exactly how the carpet is trimmed as the cover will cover it once installed.
