Temp Sending Unit Calibration
Finishing up the restoration for my 63 coupe...I would like to put in a new temp, sending unit, but I have heard that the new ones are not calibrated to my 63 gauge...is this correct? If so, is there a source for a correctly calibrated temp. sending unit? Thanks. Henry

Not that I know of. Although there are reproduction sending units out there that are alleged to be "calibrated", I haven't heard of any yet that actually worked properly. The Wells TU-5 (five bucks at AutoZone) appears to work as well or better than anything else out there.
