    C1 (57) Grille question

The long brackets which locate the grille center bar within the oval shell appear to be plated (zinc?) then painted flat or low gloss black.

Are the small plates which retain the shell to the body and the longer plates which retain the teeth to the grille bar the same finish, or are they unpainted? Some appear to have been bare steel, some painted, some may have been plated, a variety. What would be correct?

    Thanks for your help.
