    Broaching original engine pad 1962

After having my 62 340 hp car judged, I became aware of circular marks on my engine pad. The motor is orininal, the numbers all correct.
Questions: 1. Could a member supply pictures of original pads to replicate? 2 Technique for applying broach-like marks ?
My pad is without any marks circular or parallel , only original numbers.
    Appreciate the assistance, Lynn

I would leave it alone. How many points did you lose on the block?

It would be alot of work to try to gain any points at the risk of having a greater amount of points taken with redone numbers. Also if you have your car judged again let the new team make their own decision. Don't tell about the last time and see what happens. You know the numbers are original keep it that way.
