WHITE 86 Pace Car Decals

Can anyone provide me with some information regarding the Pace Car decals for a white 86 Pace Car? I am specifically interested in if the OPC lettering was silver or gold or black, or perhaps gold outline with black centers? Also, was the 70th lettering black or gold? Finally what color was the edge around the Indy 500 badge? I also need to confirm that the OEM part number was 1005-0947.

Any help or clarification that you can provide me will be greatly appreciated.

I'm currently performing a survey regarding 1986 Pace Cars. One of the areas I've studying is decals. Four specifics sets of decals were available. Below are descriptions of each along with part numbers.

Pace Car Decal BoxesPart #Description10050945Upper Black with Gold inset, Lower Black, Box10050946Upper Black with Red inset, Lower Black, Box10050947Upper Black with Silver inset, Lower Black, Box10050948Upper Gold with Black inset, Lower Gold
the decals.

Your part number is for a an upper decals with black letters inset with silver while the lower letters were black. Also box part number -947 had a silver edge surrounding the Indy 500 decal.

I've seen white cars with both the -946 box and the -948. Right now, all I can determine is that the decal vary for Pace Car decals relating to the same exterior color.
