inventory pull date color late 65

the hand written date in witch the frame was pulled from inventory should be what color ??? neither the jm or nolands book makes reference to color that i saw. i have seen red is that correct ?thanks don .

I believe the correct color is more like a sienna(burnt orange) for
65's
