leaf spring banding
I am having the hardest time with these rear leaf springs. I have the banding kit, and the signode tool I believe is correct. The problem is that the tool is giving me a crimp that is the reverse of the one in the pic. It is going up instead of notching down. Do I have the wrong tool? Corvette central says to use #src-5823 which states it makes a single reverse crimp. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong...
Any ideas??
P.S. If anyone is doing this job on a C1 I recommend the Corvette Central kit. The Paragon kit is not even close to the original.
