    #s matching engine question

    I have a 1967 corvette convertible and the last numbers of the vin match the last numbers on the engine block. The other numbers on the block are V0I04HE......Is this right for a 1967 327 300hp manual car....help? and thanks (all numbers on the engine block are 7108700 V0I04HE)

    Mark, I'll try...my NCRS Spec Guide says that the last car built in Jan 67 was #9465. Last in Dec 66 was #7110. According to the Birthday calculator at:
    http://www.c2registry.org your car was built apx 1-21-67. Engine assembled in Flint(V is prefix for 67 engines), Jan-04-67, HE being a base motor 327/300hp manual transmission.

    Appear things look ok by the numbers you have posted.
