    C3 Charcoal Cannister Filter Access

1974 L47 4 sp. Convertible. I am thinking, while car is still up on blocks, about changing the powder puff filter at the bottom of the charcoal cannister. From below there appears to be an access cover plate. The vertical ,bottom screws are easy to access but the cover appears to have a screw that is coming in horizontally and that to access the head the side trim would need to be removed. So I am thinking this is not an access cover. Insight into the best way to access the powder puff would be appreciated.

Remove the rocker molding and you can remove those two screws. Then remove the two on the bottom and the cover plate will come off.
