    66 300hp tstat housing

    The judging guide shows base engine tstat housing 3827369. I have a 3877660 on a very original car. The vendors show 3877660 as 300 hp & 427-L88. What's correct? Is this a know misprint?

      The 3877660 is the correct one for the 1966 300 hp application. Is it possible that some of these engines were built with the 3827369? Yes, it's possible but, if so, I would say they would be the rare exception and not "typical of factory production".
